PaperTrade

Terms of use

Last updated 4 October 2026

These terms apply to PaperTrade, operated by Algofied Systems LLP, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What PaperTrade is

PaperTrade is a paper-trading simulator for learning and practice. Orders are simulated with virtual money and are never sent to a broker or exchange. Simulated fills, charges and profit or loss are approximations and do not represent what real trading would have produced.

2. No advice

Nothing in PaperTrade is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. We are not a stockbroker or a SEBI-registered investment adviser. Trading in securities, and especially in derivatives, carries a high risk of loss; make real investment decisions on your own judgement or with a registered adviser.

3. Market data and your broker account

4. Your account

5. Subscriptions

PaperTrade has a Free plan and a paid Pro plan, as described on the pricing page. The Free plan has usage limits; Pro removes them and adds features such as futures & options trading, stop-loss orders and verified P&L links. New accounts get a 3-day Pro trial, after which the account moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe.

Pro subscriptions are billed through Razorpay and renew automatically until cancelled. If you cancel, Pro continues until the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails, Pro continues for a 3-day grace period while the payment is retried; if it still fails, the account moves to the Free plan. Moving to the Free plan never deletes your data. Cancellations and refunds follow the refund and cancellation policy. We may change prices or plan limits with notice; price changes apply from your next renewal.

6. Availability

We work to keep PaperTrade available and accurate, but it is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted access, accuracy of simulated results, or availability of third-party services such as your broker's data feed. We may update, suspend or discontinue features.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any decisions you make based on PaperTrade, including real trades. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

8. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will notify you of material changes by email or in the app. Contact: support@dcodein.in.
