Is any real money involved?
No. Every order is simulated with virtual money. Nothing is sent to your broker or the exchange.
Why do I need a Fyers account?
Exchange data belongs to the exchanges, and you may use it through your own broker account. PaperTrade streams prices from your Fyers account for you only; it never redistributes data. Opening a Fyers account and creating an API app is free.
How realistic are the fills?
PaperTrade assumes a liquid market: market orders fill in full at the live price plus or minus a small fixed spread (₹0.25 each side), and resting limit orders fill at their price when the market reaches it.
What happens after the trial?
Your account moves to the Free plan automatically, with no charge. You keep trading stocks and indices within the Free plan's limits, and nothing is deleted. Subscribe to Pro anytime for F&O, stop-loss orders, unlimited orders and verified P&L links.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Use it in any browser, or add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. The layout adapts from phone to large desktop screens.
